ABOUT THE SEEKER
Orbit provides support to businesses through business Analytics services and business process automation services. It is also involved in Tax Advisory and Performance analysis services. It currently operates in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It has been operating since 2018 and has served over twenty clients in retail, restaurant and trading sectors.
The Challenge
Businesses need to generate insights from their data to make sound business decisions. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software enables central collection of data for wide distribution, lowers operational costs and improves efficiency. However, ERP solutions lack the predictive functionality to project future performance that can inform business strategy. The Solver will build, test and, if successful, make available a software that:
• Easily interfaces with spreadsheets and/or different ERP softwares to access data from Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting and Project Management modules;
• By using data from data from Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting and Project Management modules,
it should provide artificial intelligence and predictive analytics functionality It should:
- Enable companies automate marketing activities such as loyalty programs and personalize offers;
- Generate visuals and dashboards of trends and analytics
- Be able to communicate with consumers through email and/or text;
- Enable companies identify which customers or customer groups are likely to buy certain products;
- Enhance companies’ ability to forecast demand of certain products;
- Enable companies analyze liquidity of the business and profitability of various products and
- Enable companies’ stock up their inventory levels easily.
Preferred programming Language – Python Operating Systems – Windows OS, Android OS and Apple IOS The software solution is expected to address the seeker’s challenges in providing business advisory services to SMEs whereby the current practice creates various standalone databases and disconnected spreadsheets.

This is a partnership challenge. The Seeker will complete the review process and decide with regards to the Winning Solution(s). The winning solver will receive up to USD 2,000. The Seeker retains the right to choose the winning solver or any other solver as partner to implement the solution.
