ECA studies migration statistics in Morocco

Rabat, June 2nd, 2021 (ECA) - The ECA Office for North Africa will present on Wednesday June 3rd its draft report on migration statistics in Morocco.

Building on the migration study launched on March 11th, participants will be provided with an opportunity to examine the draft report on Morocco’s migration statistics and information systems, with the aim of facilitating the implementation of both the Sustainable Development Goals and the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration in the country.

The report on migration statistics in Morocco is being produced as part of an ECA-led project carried out in partnership with UNDESA, ILO and IOP, with the aim of increasing African countries’ capacity to design evidence-based migration policies and programs that are consistent with international and African migration protocols and frameworks.
