State of urbanization in Africa

This report examines Africa's rapid urbanization and the role of digital transformation in fostering inclusive, resilient, and sustainable cities. While initiatives like Kenya’s broadband expansion and Ghana’s e-government services show promise, challenges such as high connectivity costs, infrastructure gaps, and skills shortages persist. The report calls for strategic investments, policy reforms, and public-private partnerships to bridge the digital divide and harness technology for equitable urban development.
