Regional Workshop on the Transformation of the Traditional Budget into a Functional Budget for a Budgeting Sensitive to the Demographic Dividend in six (06) ECOWAS countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte D'Ivoire, Niger, Senegal, Togo)

The main objective of this training workshop is to carry out the transformation of the traditional budget of the countries identified above into a functional budget. This exercise is an essential step of the process and will contribute to the improvement of the quality of the strategic budget planning exercises to allow the achievement of the major development objectives. Specifically, it will involve:

• training of participants on the methodology for transforming the traditional budget into a functional budget
• restructuring traditional budgets in functional form according to the demographic dividend budgeting methodology
