Sports & Trade Roundtable

29 April, 2021
Online | 16:00 to 18:00 EAT

The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in collaboration with Africa Sports Unified (ASU) will be hosting an interactive online Roundtable focused on Sports, Trade & Advocacy within the African sports market.

The webinar will examine the theme of Sports, Trade & Advocacy that has been built from the project proposed by the Africa Trade Policy Centre (ATPC) on leveraging the ability for sport to support the inclusive African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) implementation. This is an opportunity for dialogue amongst pioneers and thought-leaders from the Rwandan Ministry of Sport, Right to Dream Academy & Diamniado Sports City Complex to explore insights into what has been done to date, how it has been delivered and what was learnt that has enabled them to be at the forefront of innovation on the continent of Africa.

The forum will be a platform for learning, debating and identifying collaborative solutions to the current challenges in the African Sports Ecosystem and to further encourage intra-Africa trade.

Join us for an interactive discussion with leading trailblazers from Government, a leading Sports Academy and first of its kind Sports City.
