This course aims to build the capacity of non-state actors to better understand how extractive activities affect differently women; and how the different stakeholders can foster effective gender mainstreaming in the artisanal and small-scale mining sector.
The course will focus on the contextual data as well as the policy and legal framework of the sector in West Africa. The aim is to provide stakeholders with the technical advocacy and campaigning tools to consolidate their engagement.
