The Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) enhances the capacity of African Member States to leverage emerging technologies and innovations through four modes of intervention.
-
Intergovernmental Convenings: facilitating high-level and statutory meetings among Member States and Ministries.
-
Technical Support and Advisory Services: Providing expert guidance, policy research and resource mobilization
-
Capacity Building Programs and Consultative processes: for facilitating regional consensus and capacity building based on Member States request.
-
Publications: Sharing insights and best practices via policy briefs and research publications.
Through these interventions, the Technology, Innovation, Connectivity and Infrastructure Division (TICID) conducts its activities to facilitate ECA’s regional policy formulations, deliver technical assistance and build capacity in consultation with Member States and partner institutions.
