CoM2025 Side Events

The Fifty-seventh session of the Economic Commission for Africa Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development will be held from 12 – 18 March 2025, from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., in the UNCC, UN Compound, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The conference will be held under the theme “ADVANCING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING THE AFRICAN CONTINENTAL FREE TRADE AREA: PROPOSING TRANSFORMATIVE STRATEGIC ACTIONS”.

The fifty-seventh session of the Economic Commission for Africa will consist of the preparatory meeting of the Committee of Experts of the Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, followed by the ministerial segment of the Conference. The Conference is one of the premier forums on the continent for dialogue and exchange of views among African ministers responsible for finance, planning and economic development and governors of central banks on issues pertinent to the development agenda of Africa.

In addition to considering the statutory matters of the Commission, and the Ministerial segment, the Conference will be hosting six side events, with attendance and log in details attached below.
