The fifty-seventh session of the Commission, including the annual meeting of the Conference of Ministers, will be held from 22 to 28 February 2025 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia under the theme “Advancing the implementation of the Agreement Establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area: proposing transformative strategic actions”, also covering the issues of digitalization, technology, food security and energy transformation. 
The session will begin with the Committee of Experts from 22 to 24 February 2025, followed by side events from 25 and 26 February. The ministerial segment will be held on 27 and 28 February 2025 and will include a high-level policy dialogue on the theme of the session, the annual Adebayo Adedeji lecture and round-table discussions on a series of sub-themes.
