Objective:

The Sub-Regional Office for West Africa of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (SRO-WA/ECA), in collaboration with the Government of Senegal, through the General Directorate of Planning and Economic Policies of Senegal, is organizing a Technical Workshop for the Integration of the Demographic Dividend into the budgetary process in Senegal. The workshop will take place from 26 to 27 November 2024 in Saly, Senegal.

The overall objective of the workshop is to build the capacity of ministries and institutions responsible for budget preparation and execution, in order to integrate the Budgeting Sensitive to Demographic Dividend (BSDD) more effectively into Senegal's budgetary process, thereby optimizing the efficiency of public spending.
