The workshop seeks to strengthen Mozambique’s national gender monitoring and reporting framework through targeted technical and capacity-building sessions. It will deliver focused training on the core elements of gender monitoring and reporting, equipping stakeholders with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to reinforce and improve existing systems.
A key feature of the workshop will be the review and validation of the Situation Analysis Report on Mozambique’s gender monitoring and reporting system, as well as the gender fact sheet, in close collaboration with national stakeholders. These sessions will ensure that the findings and recommendations are fully aligned with the country’s context, priorities, and policy objectives.
In addition, the workshop will define concrete, practical steps for enhancing the Gender Monitoring and Reporting Framework, culminating in the development of an actionable implementation plan. Participants will take part in plenary discussions to address broad issues, alongside breakout sessions for in-depth dialogue on specific thematic areas.
