In an international context marked by an intensification of geopolitical tensions, combined with the persistent effects of health and climate crises, development financing needs have grown significantly, particularly in African countries. According to the African Development Bank (AfDB), the financing gap for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on the African continent is expected to exceed USD 400 billion by 2030, illustrating the scale of investment required to support economic transformation, strengthen infrastructure, and promote inclusive and sustainable growth in Africa.
