Join leading experts at the 23rd Plenary Meetings of the OECD Initiative on Global Value Chains, Production Transformation, and Development. Rapid technological change, geopolitical shifts and successive crises in food and energy markets bring uncertainties but also open pathways for new opportunities.
Against this backdrop, the Peer-Learning Group meeting on 26 November will be dedicated to special economic zones and value chains for transforming Africa’s economy. Subsequently, the Plenary Meetings on 27-28 November will explore Africa’s industrialization ambitions in a shifting global landscape, as well as many other topics, such as de-risking investments for growth, sustainability through trade, critical minerals and industrialization opportunities, resilient, green, and competitive infrastructure, the evolving discourse on least developed countries and landlocked developing countries, and preparedness for future pandemics.
